I do it like this, and keep in mind that I don't go with the normally considered multipliers. One, because adhering to such a strict set makes no sense, and two, because they were never confirmed to begin with. So it goes without saying that I find them utterly ridiculous to use for fusion, since that in of itself is purely a plot driven boost.

I also consider base Gotenks after the Rosat to be at least slightly stronger than his prior SSj.

Simply because Piccolo was resigned that the situation was hopeless, knowing full well how strong SSj Gotenks was before. Afterwords he thought that they had an actual chance against Super Buu. And he didn't know Gotenks could transform while fused.

The fact that Base Gotenks had any chance against SB was proven to be false, but only because no one knew what Super Buu was capable of without seeing him fight. Gag fight it may be, but it doesn't mean that Base Gotenks got much stronger.

And with Fat Buu he later stated that he wasn't being truthful.

Hell, even when Goku first says it Piccolo seems to doubt him, wondering if he actually can defeat Buu.

With Super Buu, Goku's statement is that they would die if they fought him. In direct reference to power.


Before that, the moment Buutenks reverted to Buucolo, Goku powered down from SSj3 and put Gohan back on the plate. If Gohan could beat Super Buu to a pulp in a dozen melee strikes, then why didn't Goku, whom you say is 1.66x stronger than Gohan, why did he not simply murderstomp Buu in one attack?

He didn't want to fight Fat Boo because he wanted the kids to have something to do. Who did he want to fight Super Boo? Himself, just fused with Vegeta. Did he want to give Vegeta something to do? No. Vegeta's been fighting from the start. He has no motive to mislead anyone.

Equating the two situations is nonsense.

Anyways, if you use the SEG amps you're going to have a pretty significant gap. However regardless of what your amplifications are, its going to be large.

kid buu is purist form and strongest form of buu
for example even a spirit bomb powered by gohan + a lot of ppl was not enough to finish him off needing gokus superior energy
