I think everyone in this community already acknowledged the fact that the 'Kamiccolo' boost is a 2x power-up, as implied by the Grand Elder's statement. However, i've recently found some interesting ideas which could be interesting to debate on Zeta.

Chapter: 265 (DBZ 71), P3.4-5
Context: the Great Elder reads Kuririn’s mind and learns of God and Piccolo.
Great Elder: “Hmf! He split in two, long ago…after evil entered into him! How foolish… He diminished by half the genius power with which he was gifted at birth! If he had come back together as one, he might not have had to die…”

In the end of this statement, the Grand Elder states that the child of Katatz, aka Kamiccolo, might not have had to die if he fused with Kami once again. Considering that Piccolo stated that he is inferior to Enraged Gohan, who maxed out at 2.800 on Saiyan Saga, then this statement should not have been possible. Let's say Piccolo is a 2.500. Double that, and you have a 5.000, which would still be no match for Vegeta, who maxes out at 18.000.

However, i think i have a good explanation to this. The Grand Elder doesn't know exactly how powerful Vegeta and Nappa were, he only knew their powers were 'tremendous, incredible, terryfing and etc.' which could mean anything when it comes to exact power levels. As such, his statement 'he might not have had to die' is a thesis; since he didn't know how powerful Vegeta and Nappa were exactly, it's simply a vague theory. As such, in Grand Elder's mind, Piccolo might have been able to manage something against Nappa, and to survive against Vegeta.

It's also important to notice that the Grand Elder seems to think the only way a Saiyan could defeat The Child of Katatz is through transforming into a Super Saiyan.

Chapter: 265 (DBZ 71), P2.5-7
Context: Kuririn explained to the Great Elder how the child of Katatz came to be on Earth.
Great Elder: “You speak as though the child died… Was it old age…? Or was he killed…?”
Kuririn: “Killed. By a Saiyan called Vegeta…who’s here right now…”
Great Elder: “By a Saiyan…? It is true that Saiyans are terrible, but…but to have killed that prodigy of the Dragon Clan… …Is it possible that he was…a Super Saiyan…?”

What are your thoughts?

Yeah, that's an interesting thing. I think Saichorou should know how strong Vegeta and Nappa were, based on Kuririn's memories of them. Really weird, but I think your explanation can work.

One could also make a point about his potential also being split in two, so if he were Kamiccolo, his trains' gains could be way bigger, putting him ahead of Vegeta. Unless Saichorou meant if Piccolo joined Kami at that exactly moment.

Kamiccolo training would probably allow him to surpass Vegeta? This makes sense. :sure
