I honestly don't understand why you're picking about at Kaiba for his strategy. It can't change the fact that he's regarded as one of the best duelists in the show, right behind Yugi. He wins his duels using the rare cards he's acquired, but it's really no different than what other characters do. Marik uses Ra to win, Yugi uses Dark Magician to win, Joey uses his luck to win, Mai uses a Harpie to win, Rafael uses Eatos to win; everybody has a signature card or very specific strategy they use to win. They don't complain that he's always using his Blue-Eyes or has Crush Card in his deck, they simply acknowledge that he's a tough opponent.

WTD Mai against WTD Kaiba and Yugi? She'd no doubt lose. She lost to Rafael, who was somewhat superior to Yugi, who was more or less equal with Kaiba. If you mean WTD Mai against BC Kaiba and Yugi, that's an even bigger chance of her losing due to the God Cards. Taking the Gods away would have an effect on their chances of winning, but I don't really see them improving leaps and bounds in WTD, so I still think she'd lose.

At least the other duelists show some skill from time to time, even Joey. At DK, Yugi developped amazing
strategies. Even if it was <del> cheating draw</del> the heart of the cards, he was regarded as a genius, whereas
Kaiba was regarded just as the holder of the three White Dragons.

That's generalizing it far too much. If Kaiba had no skill, how was his and Yugi's duel so even in Battle City? How did he do so well against Dartz? How did he beat Siegfried's Valkyrie strategy? There are plenty of moments that showcase Kaiba to be just as good as Yugi.

Kaiba certainly outdueled Yugi in the anime as far I remember. I always had Kaiaba as a better duelist than Yugi. Yugi wasainly luck, and drawing exactly what he needed at the right moment.

Which is even blatantly explained during the final duel. It's not called cheating, exactly, something like "destiny was there whenever he needed it" or whatever. But cheating nonetheless.

Kaiba aint touching Atem. Heart of the Cards+God Cards is absolutely overpowered. Kaiba pretty much knew Atem was absolute and knew he didnt stand a chance since he had the god cards
