[SSJ3 Gothic]

Has anyone seen this yet? It's an anime, from what I can see. I just came across it for the first time and it looks awesome. Obviously it is a bit of a redo using the red/blu take on the material. I was wondering how different is it overall? I mean, this looks like it could be gold, but its also damn expensive.

I've seen it. It's a lot more streamlined than the original anime. I prefer it.

Like the anime, this is just a commercial for the games... A commercial for the X & Y games to be specific, though.

What a shame, too. I'd like to read Special, which is more than just an advertisement for the games, if that didn't turn to shit as well.

If it had been an actual good paced series rather than a rushed job, it'd easily be the best thing done with the Pokémon anime. Despite that, I'd still say they did a better job at presenting in-game plots and mechanics compared to the original anime's ridiculousness, though things could've been a lot better.

Worth a watch then? Still sounds good, but not as good as I was expecting.

I'd say it's worth a watch. When you finish it, you'll wish that there was more because the idea had a lot of potential and they didn't really capitalize on it much due to its length, but what they did do was still cool and somewhat fulfilling, imo. Not to mention that it's very short, so even if you do end up disliking it you won't end up losing too much time.
