I don't know what "Cutie Honey" is.

Because you don't know any anime or manga that came out before Dragon Ball. As such, you wrongly give Dragon Ball credit for every popular Shounen trope. Remember when WhatChuLookinFo humiliated you on GameFAQs over this?

If you're implying that I don't know what Cutie Honey is, then that's also wrong because I mentioned it in post 12.

Well, it may very well not be an original concept, like, Toriyama coming with the visual for SSJ as in turning the hair color not having any sort of inspiration in any possibly way. But in those examples, were the context the same. Someone can get angry and change their hair to yellow. It's very possible Toriyama was inspired by this visual when showing the representation of a Saiyan who accessed the legendary power. But that doesn't take away from it. For me, the main thing is the narrative around it... The design compliments it in a cool way, but the context of which the visual was represented makes it as cool whether it was an inspiration or Toriyama saw it in a different context and used the turning hair color visuals.

Toriyama said in q&a that he'd draw DB while watching TV so he wouldn't feel lonely many nights... And that the design of many things, from cars, to houses, to environments had inspiration in things from TV 📺 he found cool.
