Things you actually liked in Super?

Needless to say, Super is definitely a bad series when viewed from an objective standing due to numerous contrivances, plot holes, inconsistencies and more. Despite that, is there anything you actually liked within the series?

To make things more difficult, you have to talk about things based on their execution, not just the premise.

As for what I liked:

- The Universe level feats were perhaps the most solid showing of the destructive capability of DB characters in canon since the Freeza Arc.
- A Multiverse was the only feasible way to extend powerscaling without power creep becoming too great and aside from the twin universes such as 6 and 7, it at least wasn't an alternate reality ensemble of previous characters like DBM (though a lot of the threats being from U7 doesn't help).
- Some of the filler episodes were entertaining, such as the Dr. Slump Crossover and Baseball God Yamcha.
- Manly GAINZ Roshi VS Tenshithands
- Base Broly is at least not a nothing character like his non-canon self.

That's about as much as I can scrape from the bottom of the barrel though.

- They at least didn't just recolor Gohan's hair and aura to make him Ultimate

- Some of the worst inconsistencies in the FnF movie were at least plugged up, such as Shisami being GASLIGHTED into Cell Jr. tier or something despite being Zarbon tier a few months ago without explanation, or SSJB Goku failing to tank a laser beam despite tanking a point blank punch to the face from Golden Freeza a few moments prior.

- The animation for the fights at least gradually improved as the series went on.

- Seeing Cabba being made fun of for being a scrawny fuck at least tells me the writers were somewhat self aware

- The filler slice of life episodes were tolerable, and sometimes funny.

- Roshi's gainz and stomping of Tenshithands were presented in such a lulzy manner that I found it more immersing than the girl randomly flirting with me while I was watching that episode on my phone.

- The finale at least didn't strike me as a forced Goku wank, since him merging with the Dragon Balls in GT and being made a deity of sorts makes no sense when he neither created them nor was ever a candidate for godhood after the 23rd Budokai. The 17 wank was still fucking douchey, but at least didn't predictably fall for the same pitfalls as every other arc of Goku being the one to take home the win after everybody else and Vegeta fall, respectively.

- Broly's backstory is at least somewhat emotional for a shonen trope. Was kind of wasted when he showed no signs of resisting or regretting his berserkness and he essentially barely gave Gogeta any struggle after the latter went Blue.

- They at least didn't pander to SJWs like a lot of modern products do nowadays in the west with characters randomly being revealed to be faggots or trannies, or changing races for muh diversity.

Is this thread for me.

The way the story explored more about Gods something that GT should've done immediately after Baby arc.

The way SSjinB is still their peak and made it the wall through the series.

How Goku and Vegeta are still weaker than Beerus and other Gods even after a lot of training.

Not making Goten and Trunks as a focal point of the show.

Animation improves as the series went on.

Future Trunks timeline being destroyed making a permanent damage that can never be change.

Filler episodes were well done.

It has a feel of old school DB IMO.
