Hit is over 10x stronger than Goku that's why. He was even with SSJB KK10x Goku which is a huge feat itself compare to what Black did. I'll rewatch the fight again to make sure of it.

He was in the Universe 6 Saga. But like I said, who's to say Goku and Vegeta didn't get 10x stronger after that saga. Anyways I think we'll have answers after the next episode. But we can't ignore the statement and it truly doesn't contradict anything.
