Toriko Part II

Many of you know I really liked Toriko Part I, but I'm only on chapter 300 of Toriko, and I can't explain it, but I'm pretty disinterested in it. Does anyone else feel the same way?

It honestly has gotten worse overall. Whilst the hype is presented quite strong for many aspects of it, the overall plot is a downgrade, since it's become so battle oriented that the philosophy and morals behind food that part 1 presented have taken a back seat to it just being used as a plot hax. The action is still good and it's nowhere near as bad as the 2nd part of most other Shonen, though still a downgrade. As far as 2nd parts go, the New World Saga of One Piece is a lot better, honestly, and has far more room for improvement than Toriko does right now.
