So Oda gave that rough estimation that OP was 65% done at some point in the Dressrosa arc iirc. Let’s round to the end of Dressrosa which is roughly chapter 800. Unless my math is off that is only a little over 1200 chapters. Considering it feels like we are still somewhat early into the Wano arc by chapter 930, I really can’t see this happening. Maybe Oda will start rushing things after Wano, but with the amount of things that have to be tied together, I don’t see how this will be accomplishable. What do you think?

He said the timeskip was the part way point. Whether or not you take that literally in talking about overall length or just in a narrative sense is up to you, since either way fits well with the Dressrosa comparison. I'd say it was likely Oda's estimated end point, though it will likely be somewhat larger. After all, Oda has underestimated the length and scope of his work ever since the beginning, as shown by him having confirmed in interviews he initially only planned the series to go on for about 5 years or so. Still, I could see him rushing later arcs when considering he decided to completely cut the onscreen events of the Reverie in favour of having them be infodumped in a Wano chapter (despite being far more interesting that what's going on in Wano, but I digress) so Oda rushing things for the later established arcs such as Elbaf or the final arc isn't impossible.
