Story

Slug, the aging god who leads the Slug army that has invaded Earth, gains eternal youth with the help of Shenron! Will Earth become a planet of demons!? The pride of being the last Saiyan royalty. That is the core of Vegeta's pride. The strongest warrior in the universe was Son Goku, also known as Kakarot, who was also a Saiyan but the son of a low-ranking warrior. It was this fact that led Vegeta to even greater heights.
When Vegeta first appeared in the Dragon Ball Z story, he was one of the planet warriors trying to conquer Earth. Rather, when the Saiyans' home planet, Planet Vegeta, existed, the entire ethnic group fought as planet warriors. After being defeated by Goku and the others on Earth, Vegeta rebels against Frieza, the ruler of the planet warriors on Namek, and is defeated by him. When Vegeta was in danger, it was Son Goku, Gohan and the others who saved him. I might get some angry Vegeta fans for saying this, but in my mind, Vegeta is closer to being a comedy character. He is selfish and self-centered, charging headfirst into the enemy and getting defeated. The more seriously he does it, the more laughable it becomes. Just like the pattern joke, was the outcome of Vegeta's actions clear from the start? That's why it's all the more necessary to portray Vegeta as a very serious character. He is fighting with the belief that he can win. With that overconfidence, he ends up digging his own grave, just like when he perfected Cell. It's a little sad, but he's always been number two.
