Vegeta got to the Budokai final

As you can see, Goku stated they'd let Hercule win if they get to the final. What if Vegeta was the finalist? Would he put on an act and allow Hercule to win?

Goku says that if any of them reached the finals they would let Satan win.

Can't imagine Vegeta doing that though... allowing defeat over an obvious imposter, pretender. Maybe he'd not even show up to the fight?

What satisfaction would he gain from beating Satan tho? He wouldn’t want to deal with the aftermath of winning the tournament for the sake of beating Satan. It’s more likely he’d just jump out of the ring or no-show.

He'll just forfeit the match and let Satan win. Vegeta has a respect with Hercule at this point after the latter helped them against Pure Boo.

Beating Hercule would be valueless for Vegeta, and the attention he'd receive over it would annoy him. However, I find it hard to believe that he'd lose through an awkward battle sequence like #18. He probably wouldn't show up, or just fly away mid-fight like Piccolo did against Krillin in Bojack Unbound.
