^Pretty much this. It's made pretty clear the Saiyans, Vegeta in particular, have far more battle experience from being front line fighters whereas Freeza's top 3 non-Ginyus tend to just sit back unless the situation calls for it. Base Zarbon's pathetic performance against Vegeta despite not being that far behind him is proof enough of that.

Dodoria and Zarbon are both pretty pathetic, and Cui too, from what little we saw of him, likely doesn't have much more than average skill. The Saiyans will take this any day.
