Yes, I agree. I have: Vegeta: 18,000, Dodoria: 19,500.

I would like to have Dodoria be capable of beating Saiyan Saga Vegeta without much trouble, but the closeness of the gaps makes that really hard to do.

Agreed. Vegeta Zenkai should be bigger in order for that work. If Vegeta were at 27,000 all of it would make sense:

Vegeta - 27,000
Zarbon - 24,000
Dodoria - 22,000
Cui - 18,250
Vegeta (Earth) - 18,000

I've made a list in my head that doesn't use manga numbers that shows more ideal gaps imo.
Vegeta (Earth) - 12,000
Cui - 12,000
Dodoria - 16,000
Vegeta (Powerup vs. Cui) - 18,000
Zarbon - 20,000
Vegeta (Full Power) - 24,000

Any thoughts?

I think Vegeta's lead over Zarbon is too big. 1.2x gap is more live Vegeta vs Dodoria imo.

If Freeza's words were true, then yeah it'd make sense for Dodoria to be closer.

Shouldn't Freeza have been factoring in Zarbon's transformation? I don't think Freeza really cares if Zarbon looks beautiful or not.

Yeah, with a 1.1x gap the weakest one is severely outclassed on speed and power, but still on game. He isn't completely hopeless, but the other speed and power are just too much.

This is what I've always thought of the gaps:
1.1 - Clear disadvantage, but get some hits in.
1.2 - Unable to keep up and get hits in.
1.33 - Complete stomp, basically no chance of winning.
1.5 - One-shot fodder.

This runs into some problems with the Saiyan arc though, namely Vegeta stomping Kaioken Goku.
