Oh, misread the title. This Vegeta stomps. Plot armour or not, his SS2 self had the reflexes to fight against Janemba, so his SSJ self probably blitzes the trio (especially if believing the anime didn't retcon Paikuhan > SPC).

Vegeta gets this without a terrible time, if my memory serves me right.

The Bojack henchmen are a clear copy paste of the Cell Jrs. Vegeta wins easily. Couple that with the fact that henchmen do impossible shit in movies. In movie 5, Coola's men seemed to give Goku sone troubles but later got stomped by a weaker Piccolo. Gohan is later shown to deal with the henchmen until Bojack kicked him out of SSjin.

That either shows Piccolo as being stronger than Goku and further adding evidence to Goku getting a Zenkai later (as though comparative feats against Sazuer didn't already make that apparent), or Goku holding back which has some credence from Coola being impressed Goku could counter his eye beam whilst shielding Gohan.

Gohan is later shown to deal with the henchmen until Bojack kicked him out of SSjin.

And Gohan's power drastically changing based on his emotions has been a common occurrence since his debut in the series.
