As I'm rewatching Vegeta vs Freeza II, after Vegeta's Zenka with Krillin and Dende. This was always a fight I enjoyed watching, and I think it's really underrated. It never makes anyone's top fight list. I understand why, since the battle is extremely one-sided. But as far as lopsided fights are concerned, this is one of the best.
Vegeta gets hyped up beyond belief and looks like a total badass as he amps his attacks and powers up. Usually, fights like this are over incredibly quickly. The weaker of the two will usually try a few attacks, and then get levelled while the spectators watch in horror. This fight is really different. We get to see Vegeta go all out, several times, trying everything he can. There's a lot of ki spamming here, but it manages to look unique and different every time Vegeta flips his lid here.
Not to mention, at the end, the emotional impact of Vegeta being tortured, for lack of a better word, and killed. The build up and the consequences of this fight are drawn out and established very well. This is definitely one of the best and most often overlooked battles Z has to offer.
