Vegetto's diffusion makes sense

A lot of people say that Vegetto's diffusing due to the air inside of Boo is contrived, but I don't really think so. I'm currently trying to finish up the DBZ anime and inside of Boo's stomach, Goku comments that while Potara fusion isn't stable in that environment, the Fusion dance is because we see Super Boo gaining the power of Gotenks along with his outfit. So we know that it's the properties of Potara itself that causes it to diffuse and not simply because they are a combined being.

Even as early as Babidi's spaceship, they've made it clear that Kaioshin and Kibito's Ki isn't suitable for Majin Boo, so it seems possible that divine beings and artifacts are simply at odds with Boo's nature. Perhaps because Boo is supposed to an evil being, and the gods represents the good part of the universe? I mean, absorbing Dai Kaioshin ended up making him more good but at the same time a lot weaker than he was supposed to be.

I wasn't even aware this was an issue to some people. The godly nature of Potara and the magical nature of Boo are very apparent, so such a reaction from them interacting always seemed very plausible to me, more so than the alternate explanation given in Super that makes the Kaioshin of Universe 7 out to be complete novices whilst also raising the question of why Gowasu and other Kaioshin would have even experimented with the Potara on mortals when the line between Gods and mortals was a core part of Zamasu's arc as a whole.

I was also unaware people took issue with this. Toriyama made it pretty clear. Vegetto's barrier was the only thing keeping him from defusing. The moment he released it the conditions within Boo forced them apart. Where's the problem?

Basically people thought that the conditions within Boo was a cheap excuse to diffuse Vegetto, or that they found it to be a lazy reason.

Dawg the potara's time limit just ran out, stop trying to complicate such a simple scene.

For a second I thought this thread was trying to justify Vegetto's defusing in Super, not the one from Z. The former is most certainly a worse reason. :et

Maybe the new version of DBZ that modern day Toei Animation lend you so they could have a new generation of fans watching their show.
