So what do you think the characters mean when they say they have run into walls? Vegeta stated he has run into a wall -- his own limits -- before achieving the SSJ and Goku also states him and Gohan have run into a wall post their RoSaT trip. Do they mean basically temporary walls that have to be broken with a new method of training?

A wall is a wall. The method, or perhaps even the body they used has reached a limit. They aren’t getting better than that unless they reinvent the method, or themselves.

Literally the most logical answer.

A wall is, for the most part, a temporary roadblock and something rooted in real life martial arts and strength building. If you continue working out with the same level of weights or same routine, for instance, you'll gain muscle and lose weight at a far slower rate than if you were to shake up your routine due to your body adjusting to it, with the training regimes in DB being no different. That's not to say characters can't get any stronger from a training method after hitting a wall with it, but their gains will be at a far slower rate than if they were to try different methods.

Tbf I think CC's dictionary definition of roadblocks is still more accurate.

His definition is factually incorrect actually. You’ve been fooled.

No, yours was better. Especially with the ''reinvent themselves part'', that shit was juicy as fuck.

Captain Cadaver, do everyone a favor and sit down.
