Was Future Vegeta (manga) Super Saiyan?

Alternate Trunks informed them about Gohan being SSJ in his timeline. Since he
didn't say the same thing about Vegeta, and considering that, for some reason,
Trunkses storytelling initially gave me a visual feeling of Alternate Vegeta being
killed as a Base Saiyan, i'd say he most likely isn't.
