Was Gotenks really the only one to fully master SSj3 in the entire franchise?

Even when dead, Goku was shown sweating in the SSJ3 form and a bit out of breath in Kami's temple.

Well Goku said it has something to do with his time. I remember when he was teaching the kids after he transformed into SS3, he started to sweat a lot.

Yeah there's no way he mastered it in that short span of time. I think fusion simply takes the strain away, while punishing you in time allowed in fusion.

Gotenks is a prodigy anyway, so i believe he could master any form of SSj in a heartbeat. He mastered SSj3 in two weeks.

I just felt that Gotenks having SSj3 is pointless and should have fought Boo as SSJ equally.

SSJ3 used so much energy that he had to borrow against the time he had left even while dead. Gotenks had to borrow against his fusion time while in SSJ3. Goku says the energy drain is so severe he has to borrow time from his one day on earth. A similar thing happens with the fusion time.

The only time the form is used in a fight without some sort of time limit to leach off of the energy drain is so great goku can't maintain the form.

I don't know if I want to say he mastered SSJ3 first, but I do feel like he had better control over SSJ3 than Goku did. When Goku was dead SSJ3 wasn't much of an issue on him phsycially but it ate away at the amount of time he could stay on Earth but when he was alive it's a completely different story. Gotenks didn't seem to have any issues physically while using SSJ3 but it did take it's toll by eating away at the amount of time he could stay in said form while fused.
