Was Manga Kefla unnecessarily nerfed, or Anime Kefla unnecessarily wanked?

A lot of people feel differently about the treatment of her power. Some take offense at the fact that Ultimate Gohan of all people was capable of putting a decent fight against a Potara Fusion, while others welcome the fact that Kefla's powers was brought down to a more reasonable power level. What do you think?

I prefer the anime version tbh. Fusion should be at the level beyond an individual level unless that individual has some special power like for Goku I.e, Ultra Instinct to match Kefla's strength. I really wouldn't have problem with Kefla's fusion had they shown more of her fight against Gohan but instead we didn't get that at all.

Fusion in Super in general seems to be a lot less powerful than it was in Z, so I'm fine with the manga version having it not too huge of a boost, especially with the anime nonsensically implying her to be above SSB Vegetto via-scaling from the Genki-Dama. In both continuities, she serves nothing in the plot beyond being a momentary spectacle and a trophy for U7, so getting her hollow character out the way a lot sooner was a far better decision for the narrative.

The manga nerfed her a bit too much, she was barely stronger than one of her halves. The anime wanked her way too much though. Vegetto should've been above any form of hers unless she was some LSSJG.

Anime Vegetto was incredibly underwhelming, so Kefla looks like a boss compared to him.
