Was Oob merging with Good Boo a bad idea?

I liked Boo better than Oob, so I kinda wish it was the other way around.

On paper, the idea of Boo's two selves becoming complete once more is a good idea. When you turn Oob into as much of a fodder character as anyone who isn't Goku or Vegeta not long afterwards, though, it's clear all potential for it went up in smoke.

Captain Cadaver pretty much just summed up my thoughts on the Oob/Boo fusion.

Great idea in theory, just horrible execution.

I would have preferred it if his appearance actually changed, and he aimed more of Boo's abilities. Seemed like a shitty power up only to me.

He didn't really get to do anything once he merged. That's probably my biggest issue. DBZ formula dictates that a power up should at least trash a secondary villain before becoming obsolete. Majoob just got kind of schooled by Baby and then pulled a deus ex, never to be relevant again.

Only problem was that Baby had no subordinates left at that point ^

Lol, true. I'm just saying that's usually the polite way to go about it. Did he not have Gohan still around at that point?

Yeah, but Gohan/Goten basically just stood there watching him fight. And he was low on ki after donating his power to Baby.
