Was Trunks talking about the same battle?

-When he later said, "Future Androids weren't that horribly strong. I could fight them decently one-on-one."

Is he talking about the same occasion both times, or is he talking about two different occasions?

Probably he fought them one-on-one for sections of the fight (maybe just at the start or perhaps they took turns against him for fun and he could get some hits in) and felt reasonably successful, but was totally overwhelmed whenever they were both involved. Future Gohan experienced the same in the TV Special.

Not even sure if Trunks ever got to fight them again after that beatdown in his special tbh. And we do see him fighting them both 1v1 and 2v1 in the special’s final battle.
