Well-done live action?

Surprised there's no topic already.

I watched the Gantz live action and it was pretty decent. Same for the Bleach movie - I got more from watching that than trying to watch Bleach's anime.

I find the live action was hit and miss (though it must have done well for them to have kade so much live action content), but these two scenes are good:

The scene transitions are cool and unique:
They pulled this scene off very well, even though I'd imagine it to be one that isn't possible in live action. I'm impressed by the actors being so intense, since anime tends to be more overtly expressive than live action. Shinpachi's actor is a very famous singer (Suda Masaki):

I watched one of those just for Genki Sudo's appearance

The Alita movie was great actually. Got bad critic reviews (I believe because of the lack of a proper ending, since it's setting up a bigger story), but did decently at the box office in America and very well in China.

I watched some of the Netflix One Piece. It's not bad, but the anime is definitely better. I'm trying to remember issues I had with it...Zoro was too serious and cool compared to in the anime where he acts stupid or loses his coolness getting annoyed by the others.
It's hard to quickly build the emotion with so little time to show backstories or show events and dialogue in general. The slasher horror vibe of Kuro was a cool change.
