Eg Bulma adventured in DB/early Z, built the time machine, gives words of encouragement
Bulma's dad built the space ship and training room
Roshi taught them and provided a place to live and meet, gives advice
Yamcha has fights and stops Gero
Tien has fights and stopped Cell
Chazou has fights, motivates Tien
Oolong stopped Pilaf's wish
Puar beat Fangs the vampire
Yajirobe kills Cymbal and fucks up Vegeta (lol, imagine being Vegeta and knowing Yajirobe stole your assured victory)
Chi Chi helps Gohan's education

Did Launch beat someone? Or even fight anyone? Save anyone? Does she ever motivate anyone in any considerable way? In just one form or both of them?
