Yeah, that’s what I thought (that’s why I said I think I mentioned it before) but they re-aired it too and I think I watched it late 2023 so it’s close. This time I definitely watched the ending too. I’m not sure if I watched the ending before. The ambience to the series is great and also the lo-fi OST.

You know you say that, but we don’t really know how old in vampire years the vampire is. Maybe she is the equivalent of a teenager (but more mature because she does seem more mature at certain times than MC) or so herself? Which also brings me to Re:Zero. I forgot to say I watched that too and that too has a 100+ year old or so female lead, except the female lead in her race is like the equivalent of a teen or pre-teen even (especially mentality because you can tell) which makes MC’s obsession with her even worse than it already is.

Re:Zero has a really, really unlikeable protagonist. His obsession is weird and he’s kind-of a weirdo too, but the gimmick and story outside of that is interesting. The time gimmick is similar to Summer-Time-Rendering that I mentioned before. I had a more fun time with Summer-Time-Rendering though IIRC. I watched the first season or two of re:Zero. Currently trying to watch the 3rd I think, but so much dialogue (not that much but still have to concentrate) and I can’t concentrate. It’s fun if you like psychological torture-pr0n. It’s kind-of psychological horror/thriller, so if that’s your kind-of thing maybe you’ll like it. Same with Summer-Time-Rendering, but that might for the most part be less intense for the most part…but certain points (in STR) might actually have more intense peak than re:Zero.

I finished watching Haibane-Renmei. Good series, but MC made some decisions that made one shake their head. In the end, like last 2 episodes or so you’d think maybe Reki was the MC, because it’s all about her. Was worth watching.
And I’m glad it had a happy-ending/hopeful ending.

I read the first two chapters to get an idea and I think I'll watch the anime. Seems like my kind of story. Hopefully they don't blow it from here.
Watched episode 1 last night. I was surprised by how faithful to the manga it was. I didn't notice a single moment of filler or changed dialogue from the manga.

I've watched 9 episodes. It slows from the break neck pace after 4. It still subverts expectations and deviates from tropes a lot. The friendship between the guy and girl is done well imo. It's realistic from both sides and not tropey.

Inside Minecraft. PS there's a special level you unlock if you get killed by creepers 50 times in a day.

I watched ep 10 of dandadan. It featured milk.

I’m thinking about maybe watching Den-noh Coil next. Will wolf watch, as-well? If he or someone-else watches along I might be more likely to watch.

I started it in 2013. Saw 1 episode. I remember Kyo asked me about it cuz he was thinking of watchin' it at that time. I just checks MAL and it says I watched 5 episodes actually, so maybe I did. Is there no manga?

There seems to be one, but Wikipedia calls it a spin-off. It’s only 2 (veeeeeeerry long) chapters. It’s in good quality on Mangadex.

Started it already. It’s actually very interesting. The world is interesting with all the technology and there’s some mystery elements.

The sisters remind me of the 2 human sibling characters from My Neighbour Totoro.

Looked-up the manga slightly after having now watched the first 3 episodes of the anime. It seems the manga is a slightly different re-telling/adaptation of the anime. Certain things are different. Not really a spin-off though, more like an adaptation.

Dandadan episode 12 (the last episode). The fucking cliffhanger. Season 2 isn't until July. FFS! Literally ended it in the middle of stuff going down.

Forgot to say I also watched like half of Welcome to the NHK last time. It was depressing. A-lot more depressing than comedy, but I guess it’s where you’re watching it from and whether you could relate to some or all of the problems (also your own position in life). I remember a YouTube comment saying once that they laughed when they were younger at the series & the protagonist for being a loser, but then being depressed or sad when they were older and watched it because they were in the same position themselves and could relate to him I guess. I don’t know I was going to watch it to the end, but then stopped for some-reason, but kept telling myself I’m going to come-back to it. It might have also been because of the depressing tone to the series.

Better than the wait for Dorohedoro.

At least with Dorohedoro I've already read most of the manga so know how the story goes (I'll be surprised if they adapt the full manga. Gonna take like 15 years at this rate). With this I have to wait to find out where the story goes or read the manga.

I might watch something else. There's a zombie one called Zom 100, I watched 3 seconds of it.

Zom 100 ep 1. Don't think I'm gonna watch more.
Btw the MC is an early-20s office worker who played rugby at university, but he can literally jump off a roof several stories up and he rugby tackled a zombie through a wall. But I don't think he has superpowers.

Den-noch Coil is going good.

I also forgot to mention I watched some of YAIBA last year for some other reasons. The YAIBA from the early 90s & it is a really bad rip-off IIRC. I’m surprised they didn’t get sued (exaggerated but still).

What does this remind you off (first vol. cover)?:

Exactly. Young Goku & Bulma.

And here I thought YYH was a bad DragonBall rip-off. At-least the author got more original with Detective-Conan.

Also there’s some suspect things in the series that make you go WTF?!?!?! (& disgusted)
