What If Goku Didn't Return To Earth?

With Goku not returning to Earth then the tournament is still on since Vegeta is still looking to fight Gohan. What do you guys think?

Everyone but #18 would still forfeit as Gohan would go aid and Vegeta would find no point oneshotting fodders. Piccolo would take Goku's place, with not much changing from it. Vegeta likely wouldn't be as annoyed at Gohan's performance against Dabura as in the main timeline (assuming Piccolo's choice at janken doesn't change the match ups) since he wouldn't have Galu surpassing him weighing on his mind and even if he was, he wouldn't let Babidi control him. Dabura is killed one way or another along with Babidi, Boo isn't revived and Vegeta proves his superiority in the group with a fight against Gohan.

As for Super, either Beerus doesn't wake up early due to the lack of Goku to perform the God ritual, meaning Freeza kills everyone, or Goku is brought back for a day when seeing the situation performs the ritual and after seeing threats will appear even if he's not there and seeing how strong the GoDs are, is revived with the Namekian Dragon Balls. Things go relatively the same after that, considering Boo plays zero role anyway.

Considering Piccolo does not dodge Dabura's saliva anyway, Gohan does not have any real motive to fight, so Vegeta clears all the spaceship levels himself. If Beerus wakes up anyway and Goku stays dead, Vegeta becomes Whisses student. Golden Freeza is defeated with Whisses time reversal, U7 loses to U6, so Zamasu is not provoked. Without Goku reminding him, Zeno does not hold the TOP.

-Vegeta would probably want to battle Gohan instead and would follow him to Babidi's spaceship
-He then sees how pathetic Gohan is and doesn't even want to fight him
-Vegeta kills Dabura and does not become a Majin
-Majin Buu is not revived
