Reading a manga called My Home Hero. On chapter 49 and it's pretty solid. The tension in this manga has been really high from the start, it reminds me of My Dearest Self With Malice Aforethought in that aspect. The story isn't anything that hasn't been done before - it's about a family who become targeted by the Yakuza, mostly focusing on how the middle aged parents deal with the situation. It has some flaws as well but for what I've read so far I'd recommend it.

@Warmmedown you should try Mushibami Hime. There's only 16 or 17 chapters translated right now but think it's pretty solid. Reminds me a bit of Malice and can be pretty creepy.

Been reading History's Strongest Disciple Ken'ichi 2: Masters Arc. I first got into the series when I watched the dub on the Funimation channel in 2009. Started reading the manga regularly in 2013. It ended in 2014, and it just came back this year.
Honestly, I feel I'm too old to be reading Shounen manga, but these big titty waifus got too much of a hold on me. Sigh. I swear, if I have kids, I will do everything in my power to prevent them from getting into this weeb shit.

The only ongoing manga I regularly read now are Ken'ichi and One-Punch Man (and also Black Lagoon, but only, like, three chapters come out a year now).
What notable new ongoing anime/manga are there? I'm actually reading one about some guy defeating demons by fucking them and adding them into his harem.

Why's it need to be notable (to whom?) or ongoing? What do you want from a story? Would you read some psychological thrillers/horror? Drama?
Dorohedoro is a dark fantasy mystery with good plot and action and an original world. The Fable is a good one of a hitman enjoying the smaller things in a normal life, with some action/crime plots, very well-written characters (being written by a guy in his 50s probs helps). If you wanna see a guy killing monsters but a departure from the typical shounen, Ender Geister was cool. Malice Aforethought was a good psychological thriller/mystery.
