When did you guys first watched Dragon Ball?

The Dragon Ball series is a gateway for anime in the West. It was popular during Toonami. What was the first time you guys watched it?

I had Cartoon Network for a while and caught DBZ on there and thought it was one of the coolest things on TV, if not the coolest. Didn't watch DB/Z properly until about 11 years later.

Via VHS tapes in the 90s. I believe my first exposure was random Boo saga episodes. I didn't watch GT until 2003 and was shocked and appalled by how boring it was.
