When Goku pressed the button to call Future Zen'o when Infinite Zamasu appeared, instead of one of the Bodyguards?

Zamasu was immortal. The only way for him to die was erasure.

There isn't a lot of information about the guards, so they probably aren't stronger than Merge Zamasu, let alone can destroy him like Zeno did.

Maybe the bodyguards aren't allowed to fight outside battle other than protecting Zeno IMO.

Anything short of Zen'O wouldn't be able to kill Zamasu. He would have corrupted the whole multiverse.

I think bodyguards are at least much more powerful than Los Angeles. I would not be surprised if a Zen'o Bodyguard can knock out Infinite Zamasu and then lock him up in some way. I would not be surprised if a Destroyer God can lock up a mortal and immortal, then a Zen'o Bodyguard can do the same. Even maybe any character more powerful than the Destroying Gods, can erase an immortal
