He went to Marineford but it's not like he was serious. I mean he looked like he wasn't serious, plus after what Shanks did to Kidd and having seen Kaidou's power, Mihawk can't have been going for it.
When is the last time Mihawk had a serious, close to all-out fight?

No one can know for sure. Maybe back when he dueled with Shanks, but that would have been a decade ago.

WHitebeard talks about Shanks and Mihawk’s duels like they were still a recent significant event. I have trouble believing Mihawk has done anything of significance since then. He also said it had been a long time since he had been chased after the Shichibukai were destroyed. Seems to me that he became too powerful to have any competition aside from Shanks.
