I haven't seen any new volumes last time I was in a major comic/manga store (though that was about a month ago) and there aren't any scans online, so it seems not. In Japan, I know they're releasing Part 1 in Full Colour under the "Boyhood Arc" label, so that might be what comes next.

They should get it over with in any case. Whether it's the boyhood arc or the Cell arc, it's been 3 years since they released the Freeza arc and that should have honestly been more than enough time to release the entire series if Viz truly wanted to.

Just looked further into the details and it seems not only the Japanese full colour of the Cell Arc, but the Boo Arc as well have been complete for over 5 fucking years now.

Why Viz aren't riding on these releases for one of, if not the, most popular manga series internationally I have no idea.

It's even more baffling when considering that Super's dub will be finished in only a few days, which leaves us with nothing but the Moro arc (e.g. dog shit) for the forseeable future until the Super anime returns - meaning Viz will have nothing to ride on the coattails of. You'd think they'd have sped up the Cell and Boo arcs along to ride the DBS hype, considering DBS is surprisingly very popular in the Americas, particularly in Latin America.

Not only that, but the Super manga isn't even that popular in terms of domestic and international sales compared to the anime, which gives additional reason to bring out the full colour. It's not as though hype in the franchise in english speaking countries is dying down, given the Broly movie did fairly well in the box office (even making the top 10 on its opening week here in the UK) and FighterZ was a financial success that caught the eye of those outside of the fandom too so now would seem like the perfect time to release more DB content. Unless Viz get desperate enough to start liscensing DB Heroes manga (which would sell nowhere near as well), it just seems inept when they've got a cash cow served on a silver platter.

Right now, the only other language the Cell Arc Full Color is available in aside from Japanese is Spanish, and the latter only took a year after the Japanese to complete. :alex2

I wonder which will be finished first - the Viz translations of Part 1 or HxH :troll2
