I’ve seen similar numbers with some fan forums I check out. A big part of getting better ranking comes from natural backlinks and mentions across niche blogs or comment sections. I messed around with stuff from https://crowdo.net/blog/crowd-marketing and that helped drive up visibility a bit. It’s not instant, but some steady mentions across related sites seemed to bump things gradually.
