unless there was an Akira born in AT’s family before himself or an Akira born in another unrelated Toriyama family.

Oda is the modern day Toriyama.

Oh ok, well it's somebody from today. I think it's Oda or Kishimoto. And Attack on Titan's author. Or Oshimi. Who knows. Whoever wrote Nichijou. THey're influential in different genres. But Toriyama's work called Dragon Ball (you may know it) was so mainstream that only Oda and Kishimoto could have that level of influence I think. Slam Dunk's author too, but he's a contemporary of Toriyama.

Yeh Togashi too. Maybe Miura too. And the Sailor Moon author (who is married to Togashi, since someone will probs say it).
