Goku, vegeta, gohan, gotenks, and piccolo. That's what I'm hoping for. I'm hoping it's not goten a trunks separately. That would mean no piccolo spot light. That would piss me off

Ideally, it would be Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Gotenks (if Trunks & Goten could count as one), and Boo, but I have a feeling since this is Toei, they'll replace Gohan with someone like Piccolo, and replace Gotenks with someone like Krillin (since Tenshinhan is so irrelevant story-wise at this point).

Goku and Vegeta are obvious, and Gohan's just a God ritual away from being relevant again, as are Goten and Trunks. I'd prefer the last two to only enter as Gotenks though in order to leave room for a non-Saiyan like Piccolo, maybe give him a Super Namek God form or something via Whis' training. I don't see any new characters joining, since there being characters relevant to God tier in power or potential in U7 goes against all we've been given to believe.

The most I see in branching out of the Zet-Senshi is perhaps Freeza being taken from Hell to form a temporary truce with the U7 Gods. It's very unlikely, though you could argue that Goku saying Freeza would be a perfect sparring partner if not for his evil could be foreshadowing for such.

Strongly agree, other alternatives would be Ten Shin Han and Krillin turned into gods and again be very important people in history.
