Why did Vegeta keep the Freeza Saga Armour?

Now I don’t know why he kept the armour at-all in the first place, since he hates Freeza but that aside. Why did he keep the old-school armour? He said on Namek I think he had no other choice, since the new ones weren’t available anymore, why not ask Bulma to make one for him like the one he had when he came to earth the first time?

I think Bulma just based her new armor model on the only specimen she was offered, which was Vegeta's from the Namek arc due to him residing in Capsule Corp.

From an out of universe perspective, I think AT eventually might have decided to reduce the size of Vegeta's armor over time to show he was slowly becoming acclimated to Earthly life.
