Why didn't Vegeta use gallick gun more?

He never used it on Dodoria/Zarbon/Ginyu Force, Freeza, the androids, Cell or Buu. But Goku and even Gohan and Krillin use kamehameha against many opponents. Vegeta said GG is just like the kamehameha. So why not use it?

So Vegeta just likes frivolous novelty more than Goku? Maybe this is why he can't catch up to Goku....

3. Wants to be the first SSJ - Goku does it first
4. Creates Gallick Gun - Goku had it first
