Yeah, he wrote Slam Dunk and his later manga Real is also about basketball

i heard it was

ppl seem to over-rate the fack out of it, even-tho i never watched the series ever before :king :king :king

Yeah like 40% of the Kenshin anime is filler, so I wouldn't watch it. Its sort of episodic in the beginning. The manga's decent though, so you could just read that. Still overrated, but better than the animu.

So the animu is episodic, but the mang0 has an overarching story-line?

There's 3 arcs in the manga, one of which is episodic for the most part. The anime caught up to the manga before it finished the last of those three arcs, so it had to put in a shit-ton of filler and got cancelled, making it more episodic. There's an overarching storyline in both, but moreso in the mang0
