She's the daughter of Mr. Satan, the most famous person in the world. Wouldn't it make more sense to send her to a private school, or have her tutored? You'd think she'd be hounded by paparazzi if she went to public school.

Isn't that school the top one in the area? Don't think Chi-chi would send Gohan to a shitty one.

Being a private school doesn't mean it's a better school. A degree from a public school is the exact same as a private one.

That's irrelevant to why Veedel attends a public school. Celebrity children generally don't go to one.

You understand that reality influences fiction, right?
You accept the flying humans and shooting lasers but can't let the famous child going to public school slide?

Yes, because the story shows it's possible for characters to fly and shoot lasers.

The story doesn't show why it's a good idea to send a celebrity to public school. Veedel can't even fly before she meets Gohan.

She was beating up grown men who had guns too. She can take care of herself

Only because they conveniently chose not to shoot her when she confronted them. And she would have been shot by the other one if not for Gohan saving her.

It's completely stupid that people are OK with sending an unarmed girl to fight armed criminals just because she knows kung fu or some shit.

It's the best school there apparently, it's also her dad's funded school or some thing like this. Whether she's a celebrity idk, if she were tho, it wouldn't matter for the Paparazzi whether she was in a private or public school. Considering the public school is high level and very formal, it makes no difference.

It's a shitty crime-ridden city. Best school in a shit environment isn't saying anything.

I think when you wear a watch that beeps whenever a crime is underway, you wouldn't even be able to stay for one class.

Why would paparazzi be able to stalk her at public school but not private? There are lots of celebrities, do they have paparazzi outside their kids' schools

Maybe he prefers that school for his kid, since he's a fighter and she might not have much in common with kids in a private school. Or like said it's the best local school. Maybe there are better ones, like Blue Hal, but they're a long journey away (Blue Hal isn't a long journey for Trunks or Goten).

That Blue Hal one isn't a private school necessarily btw. It just says an elite school. Besides distance or culture fit, it could be Videl didn't get in.
