Why haven't some characters aged?

Why haven't certain characters aged? It's one of my favourite elements of the original manga, seeing them grow up and change over a period of time. However, that's completely absent in Super, pretty much every character is dead locked in a young age. Obviously this is because their most marketable appearances, but are there any other reasons to why?

Toriyama already addressed this. One if the reason why he didn't start BoG at EoZ was because the casts looks too old.

Why did you chose to make this story after the Majin Buu saga?
Akira Toriyama: I wanted to use all of the characters, and I wondered which saga was the best, so I decided that it would be several years after Majin Buu showed up, and everyone was in their strongest condition at that time. Do you remember Uub? when I created Uub, Bulma and Krillin were really old, so I thought it would be difficult to adjust the story.

Pan has been alive for quite a while now, as is Bra now, so Super doesn't really have much space left between their current run and the 28th TB now.

As for the OP, I guess you could argue Goten and Trunks inherited the Saiyan trait of staying a child until going through a quick growth spurt could be used to excuse their perpetual childhood. As for other characters such as Bulma staying young, Kuririn not growing his hair out and it greying, as well as Marron staying a toddler, marketing and laziness is probably the main reason.

Yeah, Bulma should really start aging by now. Kuririn and Chichi as well.

What are you talking about? Kuririn is just now reaching his prime, getting to God level. He isn't getting old.
