Would Moro have been a better villain in Z?

Moro always felt like a DBZ villain to me (Probably because he’s a mix of the big 3), and with all the Kaioshin lore he’d feel adequate as a villain immediately after the Boo Saga. Just take alway the god forms and tighten the plot a bit and it would be much better, wouldn’t it?

Remove all the galactic prisoner nonsense and make Moro more of a real villain. Some of the Z Senshi need to die. Gohan and the kids need to die specifically. Goku/Vegeta would need a new form to make up the gap between them and Moro somehow, but keep the god shit out of it. Give us a traditional badass Super Saiyan form.

Yeah he feels out of place in Super. As long as Toyo isn't writing I'm sure him appearing in DBZ would be worth reading unlike the actual Moro arc we got.

I think I'd rather Gohan and the boys be the ones to beat him since they have more potential than Goku/Vegeta. Teenage Gotenks & Gohan tag team would be a nice change up.

Goku and Vegeta die. Krillin fuses with Chazou, Roshi with Yajirobe, Tien with Yamcha, Gohan with Future Trunks, Piccolo with Mr Buu. Give the humans the spotlight.

Ok how about this: everyone above, except for Goku and Vegeta and with the addition of Ox King, go into the rosat. Ox King and Yajirobe want to lose some weight for Upa and Suno's wedding (Korin set them up) and they all decide the rosat is a good way to get in lots of steps in within a day, plus the others can train at the same time. However, after walking for a month, they find out the rosat is home to Moro. They can't leave and because Goku/Vegeta are outside the rosat, they don't sense any ki abnormalities. The crew are on their own.

He seems too op to had been an enemy of past Kaioshins who were massacred by the likes of Kid Boo. Grand Kaioshin was apparently stronger than Post ToP God SSJs at his peak, that's an insane nerf.

Nothing about him was original. He was just an amalgamation of several previous villains (Daimaoh, Freeza, Slug, Cell, Boo, Rilld, etc). And his arc is so skippable as nothing important really took place; even Gokuu mastering UI was retconned later. Moro would have only been fine in a non-canon Toei film or OVA.
