I can see Yajirobe winning... One can say Goku was not serious vs Yajirobe so he might lose but if Goku was serious then Yajirobe wins

Tambourine might be a bit stronger than Cymbal but Yajirobe should still take this.

Tambourine was said to be many times stronger than Cymbal.

Seriously; Yajirobe wins with an indefinite level of difficulty imo. He is implied to be pretty close to Goku, and i believe Goku could take Tambourine out.

Yajirobe didn't seem hesitant at all to fight Tambourine, even after he thought Goku died. He was ready to get his sword out right after-ward.

Why did Tambourine even think he finished Goku with that blast? It left a small scorch mark on the ground lol, didn't even make a crater.

Because Piccolo-Daimao only gave him a portion of his brain-power?

That was filler.

Anyway, I don't think it'd be a walk on the park. Even though Yajirobe was probably not going all out initially against Cymbal, this latter was able to impress him. Old Piccolo Daimao stated Tambourine was many times stronger than his brother.

Yajirobe still cuts Tambourine in two. Although Yajirobe seemed a little intimidated by Goku when he fought Tambourine, I doubt Goku could stomp Yajirobe with ease like that, especially taking their initial fight into consideration. Also, as far as I can see, Yajirobe only ever gave praise to Goku, and didn't seem to think much of Tambourine.

Seems more like an addition than filler. Did he seem scared or hesitant in the manga?
He was like "oh shit" after Tambourine's blast:

Right after it, Goku appeared and it's not shown the fat swordsman's reaction.

Even in the anime, he didn't seem too confident to me. He was with a worried face, sweating and said "shit".
