Yamcha didn't attempt to help against Chichi nor be awed by her strongest attack, nor did Chichi manage to deal any superficial damage to an off guard Goku.p123 said:Chichi vs Goku doesn't seem all that different from Tao vs Tien.
As lazy as Yajirobe is, he was far more likely to accept the offer than a character who'd basically become a housewife and had given up fighting, not to mention that Karin would probably nag Yajirobe about it and not give him much choice. Also, considering how Yajirobe was talented enough to reach 22nd TB finalist tier from just living in the wilderness in a similar manner to BoDB Goku, it could be highly likely that travelling up and down Karin Tower a few more times may have made him fairly stronger after 5 years of the lifestyle.ahill1 said:Tao comes out on top. As for Chi Chi vs Yajirobe, I'd likely go with the latter as being the stronger one due to he being the one chosen to train under Kami's tutel, whereas Chi Chi was basically forgotten.

The invitation still came from Kami-Sama though. I'd assume he invited whoever was more adept at defending the Earth from the upcoming threat, and Yajirobe was probably more of an option than Chi Chi likely because he is stronger. Whilst you could still argue that her housewife life would make her decline the offer, if she were above Yajirobe and Chaozu, at least inviting her would be worth a try. Kami-sama also knew Piccolo took Gohan for a training regimen, so he could bride her with anything related to her son, saying he will spoon feed her with news about Gohan. He never came accross to her because she was likely not relevant enough, and Occam's Razor would also dictate such in a manga that revolves around fighting.Captain Cadaver said:As lazy as Yajirobe is, he was far more likely to accept the offer than a character who'd basically become a housewife and had given up fighting, not to mention that Karin would probably nag Yajirobe about it and not give him much choice.
Possible, but considering Goku had already gotten pretty used to climbing the Karin tower after the first clim plus training a little, the exercise would eventually become something dull and that Yajirobe hadn't to put that much of an effort to accomplish. Also, considering how Yajirobe was talented enough to reach 22nd TB finalist tier from just living in the wilderness in a similar manner to BoDB Goku, it could be highly likely that travelling up and down Karin Tower a few more times may have made him fairly stronger after 5 years of the lifestyle.

Goku's Speed vs Tien is not all that different than it was against Daimao.
Krillin and Yamcha consider this speed incredible, but they can still see it. It's not until Tien shows us his full speed do Krillin and Yamcha lose sight of Tien.
Tien is likely using the same speed against Tao Pai Pai as he does initially versus Goku. Krillin and Yamcha both think that Tien might just be "too strong" nowadays and are clearly inferior to that level.
I think Piccolo Junior is probably fighting at Piccolo Daimao's level after Krillin makes him power up a little... So here's what I got...
Goku Speed = Tien Speed = Goku vs PD Speed >= PD = Piccolo Jr Powered Up > Piccolo Jr Initial >= Krillin/Yamcha
Not many have zeroed in on this issue like I have. But this is probably the best breakdown we can get. Krillin and Yamcha can hold their own with PD more or less, but they are still not quite there yet.
