Taopaipai slaughters both of them at once. Chichi was so far below Yamcha/Kuririn they could keep track of a fight where she could see absolutely nothing, and I doubt the amp of the Super Dodonpa would make that much of a gap. Goku sweating isn't reliable evidence for Chichi's strength either, seeing as how that would imply such nonsense as Chichi > Tenshithands.
As for Chichi VS Yajirobe, we've got no solid evidence to compare the two, though I'd probably say Chichi wins since a flustered (likely Shoki depleted) Goku at least decided to dodge her attacks rather than block them, so I wouldn't say she's absolute fodder.

Chichi vs Goku doesn't seem all that different from Tao vs Tien.

Tao comes out on top. As for Chi Chi vs Yajirobe, I'd likely go with the latter as being the stronger one due to he being the one chosen to train under Kami's tutel, whereas Chi Chi was basically forgotten.

I think it goes like this:

Tao > Chi-Chi > Yajirobe.

I think finalists > preliminars jobber unless it's implied otherwise. Tao can one shot Chi-Chi and Chi-Chi can one shot Yajirobe, but i think Chi-Chi is far closer to Tao than to Yajirobe.

Yamcha didn't attempt to help against Chichi nor be awed by her strongest attack, nor did Chichi manage to deal any superficial damage to an off guard Goku.

As lazy as Yajirobe is, he was far more likely to accept the offer than a character who'd basically become a housewife and had given up fighting, not to mention that Karin would probably nag Yajirobe about it and not give him much choice. Also, considering how Yajirobe was talented enough to reach 22nd TB finalist tier from just living in the wilderness in a similar manner to BoDB Goku, it could be highly likely that travelling up and down Karin Tower a few more times may have made him fairly stronger after 5 years of the lifestyle.

Chi-Chi wasn't trying to kill Goku nor she had a cannon or a blade, so this isn't a really good comparison.

The invitation still came from Kami-Sama though. I'd assume he invited whoever was more adept at defending the Earth from the upcoming threat, and Yajirobe was probably more of an option than Chi Chi likely because he is stronger. Whilst you could still argue that her housewife life would make her decline the offer, if she were above Yajirobe and Chaozu, at least inviting her would be worth a try. Kami-sama also knew Piccolo took Gohan for a training regimen, so he could bride her with anything related to her son, saying he will spoon feed her with news about Gohan. He never came accross to her because she was likely not relevant enough, and Occam's Razor would also dictate such in a manga that revolves around fighting.
Possible, but considering Goku had already gotten pretty used to climbing the Karin tower after the first clim plus training a little, the exercise would eventually become something dull and that Yajirobe hadn't to put that much of an effort to accomplish.

Agreed. It's not until Tien vs Goku that Chichi cannot see the fighters. I'm sure Chichi could keep track of Cyborg Tao, Krillen and Yamcha's speed.

I got it like this for now...

Cyborg Tao > Chichi > Yajirobe > Chaozu

Cyborg Tao couldn't keep track of Tien's speed either. So, I think Cyborg Tao and Chichi are on a similar level.

You have to piece this together as well...

Goku's Speed vs Tien is not all that different than it was against Daimao.

Krillen and Yamcha consider this speed incredible, but they can still see it. It's not until Tien shows us his full speed do Krillen and Yamcha lose sight of Tien.

Tien is likely using the same speed against Tao Pai Pai as he does initially versus Goku. Krillen and Yamcha both think that Tien might just be "too strong" nowadays and are clearly inferior to that level.

I think Piccolo Junior is probably fighting at Piccolo Daimao's level after Krillen makes him power up a little... So here's what I got...

Goku Speed = Tien Speed = Goku vs PD Speed >= PD = Piccolo Jr Powered Up > Piccolo Jr Initial >= Krillen/Yamcha

Not many have zeroed in on this issue like I have. But this is probably the best breakdown we can get. Krillen and Yamcha can hold their own with PD more or less, but they are still not quite there yet.

Tao is definitely the strongest. As for the other two, depends on how you view the way Goku shoved Chichi out of bounds.
I used to think he did it that way (air force) because he wanted to leave her conscious so that she could tell him who she
was. However, most people say that Goku using that kind of attack means Chichi was a considerable force.

Chichi is a bit behind Tao, Yajirobe a bit behind Chichi.

What this tells us about Chi-Chi and Tao though?

About Initial Piccolo = Young Daimao, what about Goku saying Piccolo is stronger than his father on the preliminars?

He saying that he is supposed to have more power than his father, not that he's showing it already.

Chichi can keep up with Cyborg Tao's speed, not Tien's. She's not terribly far behind Cyborg Tao, her fight with Goku is somewhat similar to Jackie Chun vs Yamcha and it's not terribly far off from Cyborg Tao vs Tien.

Damn, no one know this, but Chichi is like 10-20x stronger than Roshi. God damn. No wonder why he shits his pants every time he sees her. Haha

Yajirobe frantically charges at Tao with his sword then is easily taken down. Chi-Chi and Tao fight for a while seemingly even then Tao gets serious, pulls out his knife, and starts dominating.

Tao wins.

Seriously. I have Chichi at 20x stronger than Roshi in the Raditz Saga. Yajirobe, Chaozu, Chichi all in the 20x + range over good ol Roshi. Roshi is a fucking 1 on my scouter. God damn. Master of Martial Arts my ass!
