I don't see how that matters. Bulma slapped Beerus and didn't do anything, but they weren't fighting.

We have already established that Yamcha>>>SSJ3 Goku, based on the fact that humans
always get far, far greater gains than Goku when they do the same training as him (ex.
Kami, King Kai) and anime Yamcha trained in the otherworld after being killed by Buu,
essentially doing the same training that led Goku to SSJ3.

Yet Beerus has been off guard so many other times and things haven't affected him. You just don't want to admit that Yamcha could be capable of such power.
