Don't get me wrong, Card games on Motorcycles was a dumb idea for me at first. I ended up loving it not because of the anime, but because of the games. Characters and duels in 5Ds were just better than the otehrs in my opinion. Plot was... Weird, but it worked. Shit, they even explained why Card Games on Motorcycles was a thing!

Let me guess, you watched the 4kids dub. I heard they don't do good, with serious shows. If you actually watch a good dub of the show, you'll see that 5D's story is a lot more darker, realistic, and relatable than the original Yu-Gi-Oh!

Fucking 5DS, Jack and Yusei are possibly the gayest turn to Yu-Gi-oh and an embarrassment to the series much like Season 3 of the original

I don't remember all to well. Somewhere around Season 2 and a few episodes here and there of the other seasons. Trust me, I tried to give it a chance, I had a friend who would force me to watch it but 5D's was just stupid imo.

if u watched i can't say much, but still in my opinion it's objectively the best yu-gi-oh! show (does that even make sense?). it's a lot more mature than the original or any other series

But I disagree. The reason Season Zero didn't work is because it was too dark. Only when they made the show more kid friendly was when the show took off. Something they probably learned from Pokemon/Digimon.
