What exactly is wrong with Dodoria at 20k? Vegeta was tooling Kaioken Goku with just an 88.8% gap, so 20k should suffice for being able to easily beat people at 18k.

I don't think it's necessary for Dodoria and Base Zarbon to be that high in comparison to Cui at this point. Vegeta makes it pretty clear that they've been sitting at Freeza's side doing jack shit for ages, so they have likely lost a good amount of power. Vegeta does treat defeating Dodoria like it's a big deal, but I think he's thinking of the Dodoria of old here.

Zarbon is 22,000 imo, because of him mentioning that he was only surpassed at 24,000. I don't take Dodoria into account with that statement, as he's a scrub.

I don't see it being that tight, Zarbon gets tooled by Vegeta. He doesn't even land a hit iirc and Vegeta dodges all of his attacks while taunting him and smiling.

If you consider 18,000 Vegeta tooling Kaioken Goku who was over 16,000, then it can work.

I don't think Vegeta is referring to some unknown level of Dodoria. He commented directly on how the strength he was once so proud of was now useless when he had him in the arm lock. That seems like he's saying the superior power Dodoria once had was nothing now that Vegeta was so strong. I never got the indication that any of them lost power. Vegeta just continued to get stronger while they stagnated.

With the way he expressed surprise at how easily Dodoria was defeated, I'm inclined to believe he was expecting him to put up some type of respectable resistance. I'm good with both being 22k and up.

Ddodoria vs Vegeta was one of the few ''martial arts'' victories in the series. Vegeta didn't show any visible strength
advantage; he just dodged Dodoria's blind blast, went behind and won with an armlock.

Yea the story contradicts the numbers. Which is why I go with the story. Dodoria was a big deal. Vegeta couldn't put up a decent fight at all before. He would have been completely wrecked. Kiwi is nowhere on Dodoria's level and is clearly inferior by a solid margin. Also, Kiwi got his fucking shit pushed in. That shit ain't no 1.33x gap that's at least 1.5x. Vegeta brutalized him in ridiculous fashion. Here are the true numbers imo according to the story...

Vegeta 125
Zarbon 110
Dodoria 100
Kiwi 75-80

Something like that is vastly more accurate.

Zarbon: "I... I think it's a malfunction, but... My scouter was set on Vegeta, and as the figures surpassed twe... 22,000..."
Dodoria: “It’s definitely a malfunction! Your scouter’s an old model, after all. I’ll check out the correct figure off mine…”
Zarbon: “What’s the figure…?”
Dodoria: "Th... that's impossible... Is my new model malfunctioning too...?! It's risen to up to twe... 24,000... !!"
Zarbon: "24,000...?! Are you saying it's higher than o... our own battle powers...?!"
Dodoria: "Th... this can't be...!! H... his battle power was barely 18,000..."
Freeza: “That shouldn’t be a surprise. It’s all because Vegeta’s been ceaselessly fighting on the front lines. Perhaps he’s caught on to something new on Earth. It’s merely 24,000. That’s a figure that you two would be more than able to win against if you fought together, is it not? Fufufu…”

To be fair, he says it's risen up above both their powers, which could possibly include Dodoria, although it would seem odd he only pipes up about that once it's reach 24,000. Dodoria seems to take offense at 22,000.

Enraged Gohan was stronger than raditz but raditz only said that he is stronger than goku,not himself.This could be the same case
