Did anyone watch Pokemon Origins?

Supposed to be good. Not with Ash, but Red himself. Covers the whole Red/Green game story in 4 episodes. Much more brutal too.

Well they fit the whole story of the original games in a few episodes so it kind of is but they’re still enjoyable to watch. I read the Red/Green/Yellow arcs and I rather the manga since there’s actual consequences for the characters. I ended up stopping somewhere in the Gold/Silver arc since it started to bore me.

I was reading the manga (was a big fan in my teens) up until the end of the Black/White arc but it couldn't sustain my interest afterwards, plus most of the remake and third version arcs were crap beforehand.
