Goku and Vegeta (First Trip to the Future) were stronger than in the Start of Arc Zamasu? Manga

If fully believe that Goku and Vegeta got stronger on their second trip to the Future.

A tired Goku SSJG after a failed mafuba, he fought better against Future Zamasu, than when he fought against him as SSJB in the first trip to the future.

The question is, Goku and Vegeta (First Trip to the Future) were stronger than in the Start of Arc Zamasu?

I think it's obvious that they did since Blue Goku and Blue Vegeta surpassed SSJR Goku Black even though SSJ Goku Black was stronger than Blue Vegeta prior.

Exactly, Goku and Vegeta got a lot stronger in the second trip to the Future, but my question is if they got stronger between the arrival of Future Trunks to the present and the first trip to the Future? If they did, how strong were they?

SSJ2 Vegeta was powerful enough to fight Goku Black who should be close to God tier given Goku's response to hearing about his power from Trunks. So SSJ2 Vegeta easily outstripped SSJ3 Goku meaning that both Saiyans had grown tremendously more powerful. With no explicit indication of Vegeta's Super Saiyan 2 being an anomaly, I would assume the same would apply to SSJ2 Goku.
