I don't think Ten stomped. They were equal until Ten saw through Goku's afterimage, which Goku didn't expect, so that allowed Ten a few hits. They were dead even until Chaozu interfered. I think Goku's multiple-arms-illusion move was something similar to King Chappa's hassuken, a pseudo kaioken.

They were equal when Goku used Match Level, they were equal when Goku used Battle Level. So obviously Tenshinhan increased his power too.

Are we sure Tenshinhan was already using his full power when Goku was still at Match Level?
