This was a pretty good chapter. I love how Zoro is not giving two shits while fighting. Just trying to figure out an entirely different problem with his small ass brain.

Also I never got the impression the entire arc that the family members were really a physical threat to the Stawhats other than Doflamingo himself.

Things like the birdcage or the tournament feel like they take forever week to week, but as a whole don't feel that bad. Even week to week the escape from whole cake island felt more piratey than One Piece had in a very very long time.

I think the more people have the ability to experience the series not week to week the better these arcs come across. I've always loved Dressrosa but I read it all in one go. I didn't care for whole cake reading week to week, but re-experiencing it years later its one of my favorite post time...

I really like how much of an absolute force Kaido was presented to lived up to be. But Whitebeard is for sure a contender. That was another one of those moments where the scale of the world expanded. "This old sick man is capable of doing this, what else are we up against?"

Being able to fight seriously in the form would be a start.

He needs to master advanced conquerors on the level we've seen others use for starters.
