I'm on chapter 58. Shin never trained against spears, he's too good against them...like closely surrounded by 10 spearmen at once, from what was said to ne a strong army, but does them in.

The sword I imagine is a metaphor for someone who served her or a right hand person of some sorts. Ten if I'm remembering right is the girl that dressed like a bird in the city nearby and met Shin in that city of outlaws and joined the group right? She's a girl. She will get more of a role in the story as she is very smart and a strategist.

It sounds like a Shounen initially. Which it is kind of. But it gets more serious with time. More and more philosophical and... Intense. The start is a little bit silly

Heki's wound is healable for anime, but IRL wouldn't that wound often be fatal due to infection risk while healing, in BCE times? Dunno.

It's not like OP btw there are many deaths lol many important characters end up dying. But some things won't be 100% realistic. Plus they they warriors from thousand years ago, I'm sure they had more resistance than we city boys lulz

How is it going? Are you finding it as good? Better? Not as good but still good?

Imo it only gets better. Some ppl say it peaks around chapter ~200 but I think it only gets better.

Wut. No I mean how did the sword physically leave his body, it was stabbed into him but then it comes out when MC falls while holding it.

I agree with Riboku having plot armour but it was still satisfying to see his head get split open by Kanki. That was the first time he’s been in real danger.
